Durante la noche del domingo 12 de febrero se llevó adelante la 59 entrega de los GRAMMY® Awards, La Noche Más Importante de la Música. La inolvidable velada que contó con la conducción del genial James Corden tuvo emotivos tributos a George Michael y Prince, y espectaculares presentaciones en vivo de Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Katy Perry y, entre otros, Lady Gaga junto con Metallica.
En esta oportunidad, el Staples Center de Los Ángeles coronó como gran ganadora a Adele, quien se llevó cinco gramófonos dorados que incluyeron los de Grabación del Año, Álbum del Año y Canción del Año. Entretanto, Chance The Rapper obtuvo el premio a Mejor Nuevo Artista.
